Printed in large format and ready to use, our patterns are designed to make your job easier. Pieces don't overlap, and seam allowances are included and visible, allowing you to cut directly from your pattern, without spending time tracing everything. We also include numerous anecdotes and sewing tips to help you complete your project.

Our paper patterns come in their <disclothed> paris cardboard pouch, allowing you to store them neatly in your workshop. Their layout has been optimized to use a minimum of paper 🌱

In a hurry? Opt for our PDF patterns: we've put just as much love into them as we did with our paper patterns (ease of use, sewing tips, etc.), but they have the advantage of being less expensive and landing directly in your inbox as soon as your order is validated. You'll receive them in A4 or A0 (large format) if you want to send them to your printer. A US Letter version is also available for American printers. The < slit > skirt is a pattern accessible to sewing beginners. That said, if you're a complete beginner, we recommend starting with small accessories like our < 90s > scrunchies

• Know how to thread your machine and make basic adjustments (length and choice of stitch)
• Master the concepts of right side/wrong side of a fabric and straight grain
• Know and master the breakpoint
• Know what a notch is and how to mark it
• Know what an overlock is and master how to make it (with a zigzag stitch or an overlocker for those who are better equipped)

6 to 7 hours.

That said, sewing is not a race! The final result will depend largely on your patience... So to keep it a pleasure, we advise you to complete your project over 2 separate days: one day dedicated to preparing the different pieces (cutting out the pattern and your fabric) and one day dedicated to assembling it by machine.

Seam allowances are always included and visible with us. They are 1 cm here, and 1.4 cm for the side seams because we suggest you make them using a French seam. The hem of the bottom of the skirt is 6 cm

• Many fabrics can be used for our < slit > skirt. We do not recommend "soft" fabrics that do not accentuate the pleats and would make the slit unsightly, as well as knits in general that would weigh down the cut and take away the sporty feel sought during development.
• A minimum weight of 120 g/m² is necessary to avoid a cheap look (this skirt is not lined), but avoid materials that are too thick which would increase the volume at the stomach with the elasticated waistband

• A sewing machine equipped with a standard needle and an empty bobbin (supplied with the sewing machine)
• Fabric (see fabric consumption below)
• An elastic band 4 cm wide and of a length equivalent to your waist measurement + 5 cm
• A pair of paper scissors
• A pair of fabric scissors
• An iron
• 2 safety pins
• A box of sewing pins
• A sewing needle
• A tape measure
• A seam ripper, just in case

Please note: Always allow 5-10% more than the size chart indicates - depending on your fabric's shrinkage potential. If you choose to sew the maxi (ankle-length) version, refer to the chart below.
