This is what inspired us to launch <disclothed> paris, the first non-ready-to-wear clothing brand. Creating our own clothes, depending on no one, and being proud of what we wear. Giving you the chance to be proud too.
This is what drives us. This is what has been waking us up every morning for the past two years. And getting up in the morning has never been easier, we guarantee it.
The Fashion We Love
At <disclothed> paris, we miss the days when we bought our fabrics from cloth merchants and commissioned our tailor to make us a custom-made coat.
Standardized sizes didn't exist. Ready-to-wear didn't exist. We kept the same coat our whole lives and passed it on to our children. We repaired it if necessary, and we never grew tired of it.
This time is strangely not so long ago.
In fact, it's only been 100 years since we've been consuming en masse, and we've been told that we need to update our wardrobes every season if we want to stay up to date. Today, we're told that seasons last 2 weeks (that's how quickly collections are updated in fast-fashion stores), and that a t-shirt costs €2.93.
We're told that between Fashion Weeks, don't forget to buy capsule collections, collabs, drops, and other cruise collections. Preferably on sale.
At <disclothed> Paris we love fashion, but not this fashion.
No, it wasn't better before.
Despite everything, at <disclothed> paris, we're not old farts. And even if we sometimes feel nostalgic for a certain era, we also love the one we live in.
We believe that everything needs to be reinvented, and that's why we're here.
With <disclothed> paris, you take the time to fully embrace your creativity and discover the pleasure of sewing clothes yourself that no one else will have.
Like a return to basics.
