Our fabrics come from dormant stocks of major luxury brands: these are new rolls that were not used at the end of the season and should have been thrown away. We buy them directly from these brands to revalue their stocks, which allows us to avoid overproducing new fabrics, even when there is already too much.
This allows us to provide you with fabrics of unrivaled quality and at a lower cost, which you won't find elsewhere. Our stocks are therefore limited: when a product is out of stock, we cannot restock it.
GENESIS OF THE PROJECT
Personal frustration ⚇
<disclothed> paris was truly born out of personal frustration. We were tired of drooling over incredible fashion week pieces every season without being able to afford them. We were also tired of spending 50 euros to get copies and knowing we were contributing to the fast fashion disaster—only to end up dressed like everyone else.
Since you can never be better served than by yourself, we started sewing again to create ourselves what we couldn't afford to buy.
Pay less by doing things yourself
We quickly realized that you can have a great pattern and know how to sew really well - if the fabric isn't good quality, the result won't be there.
That's why at < disclothed > paris, we give you access to the same fabrics used by the big brands, and you pay less by doing things yourself.
Revaluing these dead stocks therefore allows us to make luxury more accessible by offering you the same quality for your personal creations, but also to limit our ecological impact by not producing any fabric.
