Size Guide - CEDAR TOP

Choose your usual size...

We size our models as closely as possible to what is done in traditional ready-to-wear. So, if you usually wear a size L in stores, you should get a L here. If you're unsure, refer to the size chart below (and go to the bottom of this page if you're unsure how to take your measurements):

Corresponding size Your chest measurement (cm) Your chest measurement (inches)
XS 82 cm 32 1/4 inches
S 86 cm 33 7/8 inches
M 90 cm 35 1/2 inches
L 96 cm 37 3/4 inches
XL 102 cm 40 1/4 inches
XXL 108 cm 42 1/2 inches
XXXL 114 cm 45 inches

...but watch your eyes!

Please note, the CEDAR top is a micro top: it is indeed very short and this is intentional. If you raise your arms towards the sky, we should see the bottom of your bra or your chest. (🌶️). Refer to the table below if you are unsure and would like to know the measurements of the finished garment.

👉 If our CEDAR Top seems too short, choose your size based on your chest measurement then simply lengthen the bottom of your pattern to the desired length.

How to take your measurements when sewing?

To measure your bust size, take a tape measure and measure around your bust line: that is, at the widest point of your bust (across the chest). Do not tighten, and do not add an allowance (we add an allowance ourselves when making the pattern).
