- Our fabrics are carefully sourced from leftovers of iconic French luxury fashion houses — giving new life to unused materials
- Fabric : Black water-repellent, crackly taffeta. This fabric is very thin yet durable. Soft against the skin and very lightweight, taffeta has the characteristic of making a little noise when you walk (see the “Composition & Care” section below for more details)
Caution : do not iron ! This is a technical fabric and therefore cannot withstand heat (risk of melting) : more information in the "Composition & Care" section below

Once your order has been validated, we will contact you to confirm your measurements and discuss any specific requests you may have.
Delivery times may vary for our HANDMADE FOR YOU designs. You will receive them on average within 2 weeks of order confirmation.
If you're in a hurry and would like to receive your maxi < slit > skirt sooner, please contact us first by sending an email to hello@disclothed-paris.com, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
PRODUCTION
All the designs in our HANDMADE FOR YOU section are sewn in Paris by us, by hand (family sewing machines) and custom-made if necessary.
When demand is too high and we are unable to fulfill all your orders ourselves, we work occasionally with a small workshop based in Nanterre (less than 8 km from Paris).
COMPLETION TIME
The making of the maxi skirt < slit > requires approximately 7 hours of work

SIZE GUIDE - SLIT SKIRT
- Always refer to our size chart to ensure you don't make a mistake. For this model, pay particular attention to your hip measurement: if you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- The < slit > skirt was developed for a height of 165 cm: if you are taller, we advise you to lengthen your < slit > skirt so that it reaches the middle of your calf.

To measure your hips, take a tape measure and measure around your hips: that is, at the widest point (across your buttocks). Do not tighten, and do not add a margin. We already add an allowance when we make the pattern.

Product information
We were dreaming of technical fabrics when we imagined our < slit > skirt, and we found the perfect one for the job. This black taffeta brings a sportswear touch to the skirt, while its cut remains rather classic. The long slit at the back adds a feminine twist.
Crackled, Water-Repellent Taffeta
- This black crackled taffeta features subtle striations that give it a very luxurious look. It is also water-repellent: you can spill any liquid on it and it will immediately run off your skirt without leaving a stain 🍷
- Color : Black
- 100% polyamide (nylon)
- Made in Italy
- Weight : 127 g/m²
- This fabric comes from dormant stocks of a major French luxury house
- Care : Wash cold or at a maximum of 30°C, and iron at a VERY LOW temperature to avoid melting ⚠️
- Our taffeta does not need to be ironed to look good. Simply hang your skirt on a hanger for a few hours and the wrinkles will disappear on their own
- This fabric is very thin but strong. It is soft against the skin and very lightweight, and taffeta is known for making a slight rustling sound when you walk
